About Us
The Dalpatpur Awards derive their name from the erstwhile feudatory state of Dalpatpur established in the 17th Century and have been instituted by Th. Jagraj Singh Jamwal and K. Riju Raj Singh Jamwal, scions of this erstwhile royal house, to honour the memory of notable predecessors, Wazir-e-Wazarat & Commissioner, Mian Hira Singh Jamwal and Brigadier Rajinder Singh Jamwal, MVC (First Mahavir Vir Chakra awarded in independent India), also known as the “Saviour of Kashmir”.
